Bruce Springsteen to perform at anti-Trump ‘No Kings’ rally
Legendary musician Bruce Springsteen is set to take the stage at a “No Kings” rally in Saint Paul, Minnesota, this Saturday, aligning his music with a broader political message. Announcing the performance on Instagram, Springsteen, alongside the E Street Band, said they would bring “hope over fear” and “democracy over authoritarianism,” signalling a strong stance against former US President Donald Trump. In a recent interview, Springsteen revealed he will perform Streets of Minneapolis, a protest song written in 2026, reflecting on recent violence and unrest. The rally is also expected to feature prominent voices like Jane Fonda and Bernie Sanders.
Calling the movement “of great import,” Springsteen emphasised the power of music in politically charged moments. The performance comes just days before the launch of his Land of Hope and Dreams tour, further underscoring his increasingly vocal political positioning.
